Most dive shops teach children in one class and parents in another. A newly certified 10-year-old can only dive with a certified adult anyway — so we teach you as a family. Same pool, same instructor, same first look at a reef.

First breaths · Ages 8+
A confined-water session in the shallow end. No experience needed — just the first time breathing underwater, with you right there.
Discover Scuba · Ages 10+
A guided introductory dive under direct supervision. The try-before-you-commit option, and where most families start.
Open Water Diver · Ages 10+
The full PADI certification course, side by side. Junior Open Water for ages 10–14, full Open Water Diver from 15 up.

Maya is a PADI Scuba Instructor, licensed boat captain and marine biologist who has taught thousands of children to snorkel, sail and dive since 2009 — and a homeschool mom of two who knows exactly how nervous and how excited a first dive feels for both of you.
